Thursday, March 30th, 2006Fogotten to blog this…
Last Sat met up with AB, his gf and R1. We had our lunch @ Fish & Co. and sadly, I had my worst Pasta & Shrimp Salad @ the Suntec branch. Everything we ordered seems to shrunk… The Fish & Chip appeared smaller, the Sweet & Sour Fish seems pathetic… Next time better don’t go to that branch. But there is a particular server who attracted my attention. Her name is Kiki, and she provided not only to us the best smile, and her most honorable best service. She would bend forward, squat down when she speak to the diners. I wondered how many waitress/waiter would actually do that now. The service quality in Singapore doesn’t seems to be improving, in fact many people were saying its the customer’s fault-demanding, arrogant, etc etc etc. But take for example, our trip to TCC after our lunch… I ordered a choclate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. When I requested for some chocolate drizzle, the waitree just tell me that the bar was using, and DID NOT EVEN COUNTER OFFER to get it into a saucer/or cup. After that, she just constantly avoided our table. The cake was ‘thumb down’ and did not solve my chocolate craving. Seems like everything I had in the afternoon were unsatisfying.
This is AB with his favouite cheesecake… ‘Say ChEESE"
Apparently, the choclate fudge cake looks & taste better than the Chocolate Lava Cake… Lesson learned: Words are deceiving

Busyness??? I mean business~
Tuesday, March 28th, 2006Just when I thought this week is gonna be the most busy time of the time due to the financial closing in office… I received this email from a beloved sister in Christ- LazyChocolate…
THE POEM
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease…..
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They’d laugh at me I’d fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down…
But never found the time"
Now do you have the time
to pass it on?

Sunday, March 26th, 2006After a great message by Pastor Kong this morning, my CG & I headed towards BK & had our lunch. After fellowshipping, we decided to make our separate way back home. While walking towards the MRT station, I bumped into my CG-in-law (again… cos I kinda sneaked out to fellowship with them while my CG were at BK). Finally I convinced KaruKat & Da Xiong to go Tiong Bahru & fellowship. Due to Da Xiong’s inconvenience, we headed there cab. Ben & Plus Plus hitched a ride home.
On the cab, we were laughing our heads off about what our future funerals will be like. Oh boy… yes… our funeral will be more like celebration kind… LOL… breaking the traditions… Ben prefers "One way, Jesus!" to be played rather than "Amazing Grace". I really am thinking what it will be like… Haha…
KuraKat, Da Xiong, and 2 of their members together with me of course went to have a drink at McDonalds. Clare also came along with Joshua - the one & only kid I adore. Yes… detest kids… ARGH! They get on my nerves… Joshua is different cos I know him when he was only 3 months old. I changed his diapers before, feed him, played with him, scolded him, etc. He’s like my nephew liao… And his mum, Clare is a very fierce but loving mum. Theirs is a love-hate relationship.
I love Joshua… he’s like a friend to me… NOT A KID!!!
KuraKat concentrating hard.
Hmm… ‘KuraKat’s Bin Fa’
KuraKat completed his task with much satisfaction
Kid love HAPPY MEAL
My Friend-JOSHUA with a ‘victory sign’ ***peace
